हाशिमपुरा कांड: 16 पीएसी जवानों दोषी करार

दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने उत्तर प्रदेश के पीएसी के 16 जवानों को उम्र कैद की सुनाई. इनको यह सजा 1987 को मेरठ के हाशिमपुरा में 42 मुस्लिम युवकों के अपहरण, हत्या, साक्ष्यों को मिटाने का दोषी मानते हुए सुनाई गई. 2015 में तीस हजारी कोर्ट ने इन्हें बरी कर दिया गया था. उसके बाद मामला हाईकोर्ट पहुंचा, इसी बीच तीन आरोपियों की मौत हो गई. अब हाईकोर्ट ने बाकी बचे 16 दोषियों को उम्र कैद की सजा सुनाई.

Sixteen former police personnel have been sentenced to life for killing 42 people of a minority community in Uttar Pradesh in 1987. Rupee Again Breaches 74-Mark Against Dollar

The rupee dropped by 43 paise to 74.11 against the US dollar in early trade Wednesday, amid increased demand of the American currencies from importers and sustained foreign fund outflows, reported news agency Press Trust of India. Forex traders said, the US dollar's strength against some currencies overseas and concerns around the rift between the government and the RBI also weighed on the local unit. At the interbank foreign exchange, after opening lower at 73.91, rupee weakened further to quote at 74.11 against the dollar registering a fall of 43 paise over its previous close.

राफेल मामले (Rafale Deal) पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट (Supreme Court) ने अरुण शौरी और अन्य की याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए सरकार से दस दिनों के भीतर सील बंद लिफाफे में राफेल विमान की कीमत और उसके डिटेल जमा करने को कहा है. बता दें कि पिछली बार सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सिर्फ सौदे की प्रक्रिया की जानकारी मांगी थी. मगर इस बार सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने महज 10 दिनों के भीतर राफेल की कीमत और उसकी विस्तृत जानकारी मांगी है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि सरकार जो भी जानकारी कोर्ट को दे, वह याचिकाकर्ताओं को भी दे ताकि वह इस पर अपना जवाब दे सके. कोर्ट ने कहा कि सरकार को लगता है कि कोई जानकारी गोपनीय है तो वह उसे याचिकाकर्ता को देने से मना कर सकती है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केन्द्र सरकार को कहा है कि वह राफ़ेल डील में क़ीमत के बारे में जानकारी दस दिनों में सीलबंद लिफ़ाफ़े में कोर्ट को दें और ऑफसेट पार्टनर कैसे चुना गया ये भी बताएं.

Anticipating protests by locals who demand compensation for the land used for the enormous figure, thousands of police personnel were deployed ahead of the inauguration. साल 2008 के मालेगांव बम धमाकों में एनआईए की विशेष अदालत ने मंगलवार को लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल प्रसाद पुरोहित, साध्वी प्रज्ञा सिंह ठाकुर समेत सभी 7 आरोपियों के खिलाफ आरोप तय कर दिये. 29 सितंबर 2008 को हुए धमाके में 6 की जान गई थी और 100 से अधिक लोग जख्मी हुए थे. बम धमाके को 10 साल हो गए लेकिन अब तक आरोप तय नही हो पाया था. आपको बता दें कि 29 सितंबर 2008 को महाराष्ट्र के मालेगांव में बम धमाके हुए थे. इसमें 6 लोगों की मौत हो गई थी और 100 से अधिक लोग घायल हो गए थे. इस मामले में एटीएस ने 21 जनवरी 2009 को पहला आरोप पत्र दायर किया.

भीमा कोरेगांव मामले में जून में गिरफ्तार पांच आरोपियों को सुप्रीम कोर्ट से राहत नहीं मिली है.पुणे पुलिस को चार्जशीट दाखिल करने के लिए और वक्त मिला है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट के उस फैसले पर रोक लगा दी, जिसमें हाईकोर्ट ने पुणे पुलिस को आरोपत्र दाखिल करने के लिए 90 दिन की मोहलत देने के निचली अदालत के आदेश को रद्द कर दिया था. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आरोपी गडलिंग को नोटिस जारी कर जवाब मांगा. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यह फैसला महाराष्ट्र सरकार की ओर बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट के फैसले को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका पर सुनवाई के दौरान दिए. महाराष्ट्र सरकार की ओर से पेश मुकुल रोहतगी ने कहा कि तकनीकी वजह से चार्जशीट दाखिल नहीं हो पाई.अगले दस दिनों में चार्जशीट दाखिल होगी.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट में आज अयोध्या में ज़मीन विवाद (Ayodhya Dispute) मामले की सुनवाई टल गई है. अब जनवरी में तय होगा कि सुनवाई कब होगी. सुप्रीम कोर्ट में आज तीन जजों की नई बेंच ने अयोध्या में ज़मीन विवाद मामले की सुनवाई की. नई बेंच में मुख्य न्यायधीश रंजन गोगोई, संजय किशन कौल और जस्टिस के एम जोसेफ शामिल थे. उन्होंने मामले की सुनवाई टाल दी है. दरअसल, इलाहबाद हाइकोर्ट ने 2010 में विवादित 2.77 एकड़ जमीन को तीनों पक्षकारों भगवान रामलला, निर्मोही अखाड़ा और सुन्नी वक़्फ़ बोर्ड के बीच बराबर-बराबर बांटने का फ़ैसला सुनाया था. जिसके विरोध में कई पक्षों की तरफ़ से सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दायर की गई थी.

Engineless trains till now ran in big cities as part of the Metro network, but Train-18 will be the first semi-high speed train to offer a comfortable inter-city ride.
