AI-2379, carrying 137 passengers and eight crew members, was on its way to Delhi from Phuket on August 4 when it experienced a sudden loss of altitude of 300 feet during its cruise phase. At least 20 passengers and four crew members were injured.

महाराष्ट्र के छत्रपति संभाजीनगर में खाद्य एवं औषधि प्रशासन (FDA) ने एक डेयरी पर छापा मारकर मिलावट के बड़े गोरखधंधे का पर्दाफाश किया. जांच में सामने आया कि सोयाबीन तेल का इस्तेमाल कर नकली पनीर और गाय का घी बनाया जा रहा था. FDA ने मौके से मिलावटी घी, पनीर, क्रीम और खाद्य तेल समेत कुल ₹3,12,380 मूल्य का माल जब्त किया. अधिकारियों ने इस मामले में कड़ी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है और खाद्य सुरक्षा नियमों के उल्लंघन की जांच जारी है.
