एक 65 वर्षीय युवक स्वामी सुंदरमूर्ति ने कर्नाटक पुलिस समेत दक्षिणी भारत के आधा दर्जन से ज्यादा राज्यों की पुलिस की उस वक्त नींद उड़ा दी जब उन्होंने कॉल कर कर्नाटक पुलिस को बताया कि तमिलनाडु में 19 आतंकी छिपे हैं. और वह जल्द ही दक्षिण भारत के कई राज्यों में बड़ी आतंकी घटनाओं को अंजाम देने की तैयारी कर रहे हैं. इस सूचना के मिलने के बाद कर्नाटक पुलिस के आला अधिकारियों ने पड़ोसी राज्यों की पुलिस को अलर्ट किया. इसी बीच जब हमले की तैयारी की सूचना देने वाले सुंदरमूर्ति से पूछताछ की गई तो कहानी कुछ और ही निकली. सुंदरमूर्ति ने बताया कि जब वह ध्यान लगा रहा था तभी उसके अंतरआत्मा से आवाज आई कि कुछ आतंकी हमले की तैयारी कर रहे हैं.

RBI To Issue New Rs. 20 Notes Soon

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday announced that it will shortly issue Rs. 20 denomination banknotes, in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) series, bearing the signature of the central bank's governor Shaktikanta Das. The new Rs. 20 note is greenish-yellow in colour, the central bank said in a statement. "The new banknote has a motif of Ellora Caves on the reverse, depicting the country's cultural heritage," the RBI added. All the banknotes in the denomination of Rs. 20 issued by the RBI in the earlier series will also continue to be legal tender, it further clarified.

ओडिशा के संबलपुर में प्रधानमंत्री का हेलीकॉप्टर चेक करने पर सस्पेंड किए गए IAS अफ़सर मोहम्मद मोहसिन ने NDTV से बात की. उन्‍होंने कहा कि वो अपनी ड्यूटी कर रहे थे और न्‍याय के लिए वो कोर्ट जाएंगे. गुरुवार को ही उनके निलंबर पर CAT ने रोक लगा दी थी लेकिन उनके खिलाफ अनुशासनात्‍मक कार्रवाई करने की अनुशंसा की थी. मोहम्‍मद मोहसिन का कहना है कि घटना के समय वो वहां मौजूद नहीं थे बल्कि जूनियर अफसरों को दिशानिर्देश देकर चले गए थे. उन्‍होंने कहा, 'मैंने चुनाव आयोग के दिशानिर्देशों का उल्‍लंघन नहीं किया बल्कि उसी के अनुसार कार्रवाई की. मुझे बेवजह सजा दी गई और आयोग ने हड़बड़ी में मुझे निलंबित कर दिया. मुझे कोई रिपोर्ट नहीं मिली.'

रेप के मामले में आसाराम का बेटा नारायण साईं दोषी क़रार

सूरत की सेशंस कोर्ट ने नारायण साईं को बालात्कार मामले में दोषी करार दिया है. अदालत ने नारायण साईं के साथ 4 और को दोषी करार दिया है. सभी की सजा का ऐलान 30 अप्रैल को होगा. सूरत की रहने वाली दो बहनों ने नारायण साईं और बाकियों के खिलाफ बलात्कार का मामला दर्ज कराया था. पुलिस ने पीड़ित बहनों के बयान और मौके से मिले सबूतों के आधार पर केस बनाया था. मामला करीब 11 साल पुराना है. एफआईआर दर्ज होने के करीब दो महीने बाद दिसंबर 2013 में नारायण साईं को हरियाणा-दिल्ली सीमा के पास से गिरफ्तार कर किया गया था. नारायण साईं पर जेल में रहते हुए पुलिस कर्मी को 13 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत देने का भी आरोप लगा था.

India's Unemployment Rate Hits Highest Level In Two-And-A-Half Years: Think-Tank

India's unemployment rate has hit the highest level in the last 2 and half years, according to a data released by Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE). The unemployment rate in the country stood at an average of 8.1 per cent in the first three weeks of April, the think-tank said in its April 23-notification citing the findings of its household survey. In the first week of April, the unemployment rate was recorded at 7.9 per cent, in the second week at 8.1 per cent and in the third at 8.4 percent. "Each of these is higher than the unemployment rate in the weeks of March," CMIE said in its statement.
