Schools in Tamil Nadu from Class 9 onwards can reopen from September 1st, the state government said on Saturday as it announced more relaxations in COVID-19 curbs while extending some restrictions till September 9. Under the new set of relaxations, theatres have been given the go-ahead to open at 50 per cent capacity from Monday. Theatres have been directed to ensure their staff is vaccinated.
