Christian Michel, arrested by the Enforcement Directorate over money laundering charges in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam after he was extradited from the UAE earlier this month, was produced in Delhi's Patiala House Court after seven days in the probe agency's custody.

दक्षिण कश्मीर के पुलवामा जिले में शनिवार को सुरक्षाबलों के साथ मुठभेड़ में चार आतंकवादी मारे गए.सेना के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि पुलवामा के हंजन इलाके में आतंकवादियों की मौजूदगी की खुफिया सूचना के आधार पर सुरक्षाबलों ने इलाके की घेराबंदी कर दी और तलाश अभियान चलाया. उन्होंने बताया कि जब सुरक्षाबल तलाशी में लगे थे तो वहां छिपे आतंकवादियों ने उन पर गोलियां चला दीं. अधिकारी ने बताया कि सुरक्षाबलों ने भी जवाबी कार्रवाई की जिसके बाद मुठभेड़ शुरू हो गई.मुठभेड़ में चार आतंकवादी मारे गए. मुठभेड़ स्थल से हथियार और अन्य युद्ध जैसी सामग्री बरामद की गई है.अभी खोज अभियान चल रहा है.

Cabinet Nod In Bag, ISRO Set To Launch Hunt For Gaganyaan Astronauts

The cabinet's approval for the much-awaited manned mission to space has paved the way for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to start selecting potential astronauts. The chosen ones will be called vyomnauts in a nod to vyom, the Sanskrit term for space, or Gagannauts. ISRO chairman Dr K Sivan told NDTV that the Gaganyaan mission would prove to be a game-changer for the country. "This will be a challenging and exciting mission. We will send two unmanned missions into space before Gaganyaan's launch three years from now," he said. "Work on the mission is on in full swing, and all the targets will be met."

Day 15 Of Meghalaya Miners' Rescue, Air Force Flies In Pumps

A heavy-lift transport plane of the Air Force carrying seven high-power pumps landed this morning at Guwahati airport, from where the equipment will be taken to a rat-hole mine in Meghalaya where 15 men are trapped for three weeks. The plane came loaded with the heavy tools from Bhubaneswar in Odisha. Low-capacity pumps used by the National Disaster Response Force or NDRF turned out ineffective in extracting water from the collapsed mine in Meghalaya's East Jaintia Hills. NDRF senior officials said water from an adjacent abandoned mine and a nearby river kept flooding the rat-hole mine, making it unsafe for their divers to operate. The high-power pumps arrived three weeks after the mine collapsed on December 13.

बुलंदशहर: हत्या के 25 दिन बाद हुई गिरफ्तारी
