The Union Cabinet has approved a budget of Rs. 10,000 crore for sending three Indian astronauts to space for seven days by 2022, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad announced this evening. The ambitious project, dubbed "Gaganyaan", will help India become the fourth nation to send man to space.
