At least 2,600 people with links to Chennai's super-spreader Koyambedu vegetable market have tested positive for coronavirus. While the spread of the virus has been largely checked, the slums in Tamil Nadu's capital remain a challenge, senior bureaucrat and Special Nodal Officer for Chennai Dr J Radhakrishnan tells NDTV. Tamil Nadu's mortality rate is the lowest, he says, and tells people not to panic but to follow regular hand-washing, wear mask and keep social distancing.
