Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj hit out at Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, accusing it of harbouring terrorists and "masking malevolence with duplicity". In her address, she said that the United Nations is losing significance in the absence of fundamental reforms. Ms Swaraj also added that the reform must begin today as "tomorrow could be too late". On Left Right and Centre, we focus on Sushma Swaraj's speech at the UN General Assembly (UNGA) at a time when India-Pakistan bilateral ties have hit a particularly rocky stretch in the aftermath of the murder of a Border Security Force (BSF) soldier in Jammu 10 days ago. On Friday, the Ms Swaraj left a SAARC inter-ministerial meeting on the sidelines of the UNGA just before Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was to speak.
