Basavaraj Bommai has been sworn in as the new chief minister of Karnataka with the blessings of his predecessor, BS Yediyurappa. On being asked about what would be BS Yediyurappa's role in the new government, he said: "Yediyurappa is a mentor, and his experience is a boon to me."
