Two explosions at the crowded gates of Kabul airport caused multiple casualties among civilians and US troops, bringing halt to the airlift of tens of thousands of Afghans desperate to flee. Satellite images collected by Maxar show the Kabul airport prior to the blasts with a huge crowd at the airport's Abbey gate, where one of the explosions took place.
