Unified Pension Scheme: केंद्र सरकार ने न्यू पेंशन स्कीम (NPS) की जगह नई पेंशन स्कीम का ऐलान किया है. यूनिफाइड पेंशन स्कीम यानी UPS को 1 अप्रैल 2025 से लागू किया जाएगा. मोदी सरकार ने बताया कि इस स्कीम से 23 लाख केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों को फायदा होगा. हालांकि, कर्मचारियों के पास UPS या NPS में से कोई भी पेंशन स्कीम चुनने का ऑप्शन रहेगा. वहीं, अगर राज्य सरकार भी इसे अपना सकती हैं. UPS से एम्प्लॉयी कॉन्ट्रिब्यूशन का बोझ भी नहीं बढ़ेगा.

A two-storey banquet hall collapsed in northwest Delhi's Model Town area amid heavy rain on Saturday afternoon. His aide and the event organisers have been named and charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder and wrongful restraint.
