Most of the northeast states are witnessing a prolonged second wave of the pandemic. With more cases of delta variant emerging in the region and a slow decline in the number of fresh cases, several states in the northeast have been forced to either announce fresh lockdowns or other stricter measures to control the situation. The real concern is - will the prolonged second wave merge into a possible third wave? Ratnadip Choudhury reports.
