दिल्ली: यमुना नगर के टोल प्लाजा पर किसानों का समर्थन करने पहुंचे पूर्व पुलिस अधिकारी

यमुना नगर के टोल प्लाजा पर किसानों का धरना लगातार जारी है. सोमवार को पूर्व आईजी रणबीर शर्मा और कई रिटायर्ड अधिकारी टोल प्लाजा पर पहुंचे. इन अधिकारियों की भी आशंका किसानों की तरह ही है, लिहाजा यह किसानों का समर्थन करने के लिए पहुंचे हैं. किसानों के बीच पहुंचने के बाद अधिकारियों ने उन्हें समर्थन देने की बात कही है. उन्होंने कहा कि नए बिलों से किसान गुलाम हो जाएंगे.

On this February morning, the farmers stood behind the barricades - at the same spot where they have been waiting for more than two months. Most have made themselves comfortable, spreading rugs and mats on the highway where they sit and chat. The food is brought in from the langar and at noon and in the evening, they sit in rows for a simple meal.

मुंबई की लोकल में अब आम आदमी भी सफर करने लगे हैं. 29 जनवरी को पश्चिम, मध्य और हार्बर लोकल में 19 से 20 लाख यात्रियों ने सफर किया था. सभी को यात्रा करने की अनुमति मिलने के बाद यह आंकड़ा 34 लाख तक जाने का अनुमान है. एक दिन में 13 से 14 लाख यात्री बढ़े हैं. सुनील सिंह की रिपोर्ट.

The duration of the protest will be three hours -- from noon to 3 pm -- during which they plan to block transport on highways. The announcement was made on Monday evening -- the day the aborted march to parliament was planned – the Samyukt Kisan Morcha, an umbrella body of farmer groups.

बजट: मध्य प्रदेश के किसानों की क्या है राय?

Prasar Bharati CEO's Twitter Handle Among Accounts Suspended

The Twitter account of public broadcaster Prasar Bharati's chief executive was among those blocked by the social networking company on Monday amid a broad sweep of users found using a hashtag deemed inappropriate by the government. The account was restored later in the evening. Shashi Shekhar Vempati's account was "withheld" inadvertently by Twitter, government sources said, as authorities asked the US company to take down accounts that had used the hashtag #ModiPlanningFarmerGenocide during the ongoing farmers' protests.
