India's total tally of COVID-19 cases surged to 2,98,23,546 with 60,753 new infections, while the recoveries have surged to 2,86,78,390, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Saturday. The death count increased to 3,85,137 with 1,647 new fatalities, the data updated at 8 am showed.
