Karnataka's capital Bengaluru has been struggling with infrastructure problems after heavy rains flooded the city in recent times. The traffic is also not becoming any better as the city grows but is unable to keep up with a proper infrastructure. "All the lakes in Bengaluru are artificial. Unfortunately, the valleys were converted into real estate. Road construction also plays a role in changing topography. It is not just a Bengaluru story. The next one could be Chennai, Hyderabad. The master plans are supposed to answer it. We only have added up measures," Raj Bhagat Palanichamy of the research group WRI India said when asked what lies in store for Bengaluru.
