The century-old renovated bridge that collapsed in Gujarat's Morbi city had not taken a fitness certificate from the authorities before reopening it, the local municipal body's chief told NDTV. Nitin Patel, ex Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister, said the state government has formed a special investigation team to look into the incident, adding that the first priority is to save people.
